Pump has power in LOW mode but will not start circulation
The flow circulation and heating pump is an Ultimax 1016039 pump. The pump will not start in the LOW mode but is getting power. The pump can be switched to the HIGH mode then back to LOW and my hot tub will heat and maintain flow in the low mode. Once the tub is heated and then pump is off it will not turn on in the LOW mode then display returns "dry" message. Reset system with no help. The pump is a Century AO Smith pump that has a "brake" (starting capacitor?). You can click on the pump 1 button to start in LOW mode and only get humming. Then click on HIGH and pump will start. Then click LOW and pump will stay on. Is this starting capacitor bad and can it be replaced? Or does the whole motor need to be replaced.
