| 2000 Hot Springs - red power light blinking |
Drained the tub, disconnected the wiring, moved the tub to new location, filled it up, connected wires, flipped breakers and all I get is the circ pump going (bubbling well from the drain) and a red blinking power light. Tried resetting for 30 seconds, checked filters, see a good flow to the circ pump, don't know what else to do!? Heater is COLD, water is 56 degrees, is it possible the thermistor failed ? I did the wiring myself, took pictures and documented everything. Is there some voltage tests i can do with my meter? any help would be appreciated.
thanks |

Re: 2000 Hot Springs - red power light blinking
If the red light just starts flashing on start up, be sure the high limit thermistor is plugged in and didn't get shaken loose.
OHM out both the thermistors, they should be pretty close. At 56F, around 17K to 19K Ohms. |
