Balboa topside control panels are pretty easy to find a replacement for. Any chance you could post a picture of the panel or more importantly the configuration of the plug end connection. Is it a phone-jack type end connector? I sold Marquis in '99 and 2000 but not sure on the '96. Do you have the model name?

yes i have a pic and it has a phone jack 8 wires i belive
As you said Balboa makes the topside control for Marquis. They assign the part number 54063 for that controller. You can't find that part number for any Balboa boards because they can't sell that exact contoller to the public, only to Marquis.
Marquis has their own part numbers and if the one in the picture looks like the one you need and the connector is the same then it will most likely be fine. When you get it the Balboa 54063 number will probably be on the back.
I can check into this more on Friday when I am at work with more resources if you are still looking then.

Yeah sorry, I got buried at work on Friday with the terrible cold temperatures around here. Started with 4 jobs and ended up with 8 as my phone kept ringing. I think you will be fine with the one you ordered.

well for anyone that has to change out digital controler on a marquis tub 1996-1999 can use a balboa 54094 it looks differnt oval vs square but hole under is the same no cutting just caulk around controler under where face meets tub just to be safe and plug it in turn on power and your all set to go works great and saves a lot of time of finding one or trying to match one up and i hope this helps someone out
