2000 Dimension one Chairman II shows "SET TEMP 104F"?

I just bought a used Dimension one Chairman II spa and when I wired it but up the display just stays at "SET TEMP 104F" and the heat recirc pump runs but none of the buttons do anything. The backlight on the control is lit. I checked fuses and there is one that doesn't show voltage on either side (for the light). Whn I first applied the power I actually was able to press the temp down button and it went down but when I left off it went right back to 104, possibly a stuck/bad button. I have not been able to test anything further, I do have the manual for the 2002 version from the web site and the controller looks the same but I am not able to do any of the functions for setting things outlined in there. The unit did ride for 4 hours on a trailer and I will pull the board and see if I see anything loose/broken. If anyone has the wiring for the control that would help to test it out switch by switch. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks, Tim <img src=:" title="Question" />

Re: 2000 Dimension one Chairman II shows "SET TEMP 104F"?

you have a bad top side control, your up button is stuck pressed, that is why is setting to the highest temperature, 104,,, remove the inlay( sticker on top side control) and try to pull up all the buttons, specially the UP button, or the ones that look cricked, then reset the power and see if that works.. unfortunally the button can collapse again and give you the same problem, but at least you will know that, the tsc is the problem.. get to your closest dealer and order a tsc-24 or K-24,, good luck!

Re: 2000 Dimension one Chairman II shows "SET TEMP 104F"?

Thanks D1 Danny, I thought it would be something like that. I unplugged all of the controllers and powered up and that time the light kept going on/off but I could start the jets but once I touched the temp button thats where it hung up again. I will order a new contol and overlay and hopefully things go better from here.

Thanks

Re: 2000 Dimension one Chairman II shows "SET TEMP 104F"?

Just a follow up, I tried getting the buttons to stop sticking but ended up cutting the overlay and pulling the rubber piece between the overlay and the actual buttons. This allowed it to operate other than the light and the temp up button. I covered these holes with duct tape the I did buy a new top control and all of that works great.
Thanks for the help, Tim
