| Bad Heater Relay? D1 1994 Is it removealbe? |
Have a D1, 93 Colisuem, just replaced the Apollo pump and got rid of Flo1 code, but now no heat. Believe it might be the relay on the board, but can't determine if it is 'removeable'/replaceable or whether the whole board would need to be replaced?$$$ Hi-Temp & T-stat appear to have contiunity, so don't believe it's that. [Except that everything we read talks about "resetting the Hi-Limit/Temp switch and does that just mean unplugging it from the J5(?) connection and replugging it back in?
Any other ideas on heater problem is greatly appreciated.
If the heater relay IS replaceable - what would be an appropriate Brand/Model # to get and where?THANKS!!!!!! |

Have you measured the voltage across the terminals going to the heater to determine if it's getting power?
(you say, "no heat", what I'm asking is... "no voltage at heater?"
two different worlds... let me know.
thanks. |

Heater Relay is soldered onto board.
Have been told by D1 dealer presonal that the most D1 boards, 99 and older will have the relays soldered onto them, thus requiring the replacement of the entire board ($200-400.00)
I'll get back to you on the ? -stuck at office and will need to verify answer. It's my understanding that no power to heater at terminals. |
