| Catalina Control, RC7: No "SYS" light |
I have a catalina controls RC-7. The spa side control temp works fine, but the "sys" button does not appear to function. (no sys light), so nothing else works. High speed jets come on when the tub is first plugged in to warm up. Can anyone tell me where to get schematics showing the pin outs to the circuit board connector so that I can test and determine if it's a bad switch or a bad control board? |

Schematics.
I was hoping for a long time that they (Brett) would eventually get around to updating the site with their older systems like the RC7 (which was quite a popular system for a long time), but as of yet, they haven't.

If you look towards the bottom of the page, you'll see some instructions for the BL-40. It uses the same basic pinout on the electrical connectors at the bottom, and the only other difference with the top control cable plug, is that they've added an extra ground wire.

They may still offer factory rebuilding of your existing board too. Last time I checked, they did. I'll give them a call and find out, as your only other option is to replace it with a BL-40 Universal replacement board. About 300 bucks. I'll post their answer here.
Thanks. |
