D1 topside controller stuck in ----

I have 2000 D1 chairman, I had heater problem so I bought some used spa parts from 2003 D1 chairman hoping all the parts were interchangeable.

I was wrong, The control board and top side control uses different pins and least one of sensor pins had different pin position.

My 2000 top side control I/O key pad had water inside, so I decided to change the control board also using 2003 board.

after exchanging CPU board, topside controller and heater.

The water is getting warm but top side panel is frozen in this mode.

I am stuck in this mode, seeking helpful info to fix this problem

Re: D1 topside controller stuck in ----

I used 2000 model controller since it had same pin connectors

Re: D1 topside controller stuck in ----

And is the 2000 topside stuck in that 'program' mode when plugged in?

I could not used the 2000 topside since it had different pin size connectors and it was old and wet, thats the another reason I went with 2003 CPU controller and 2003 topside controller.

Re: D1 topside controller stuck in ----

UPDATE after reading the forums, I trace the problem to trapped air in the jet 1 and jet 2 pump. at the pump I found a small screw about 1/2 inch. I unscrewed it let the air out, it worked for jet 1 pump BUT jet 2 pump is still turning but no jets are blown. how could I fix this ? thanks <img src=ops:" title="Embarassed" />
