Dead Spa
Hi,
I have a Spaform Grand Canyon which is about 6 years old and has been suffering a few problems over the last year including malfunctioning pump and heater. Having got these problems resolved everthing seemed fine until last week when I went out to check the chems and found that the water was cold, there was nothing in the display and none of the buttons did anything.
None of the trips had gone so I checked that the PCB was receiving power which it is. I tested the fuses on the board and they are fine too.
The unit housing the PCB is a Balboa badged as SF100 (which I think is a Spaform designation) but I think it's a M3 board.
The only other thing I noticed is that the little wheel on the pressure switch unit which you turn when you get a "FLO" message will not move.
Any ideas?

If the display is blank, and the pcb is getting power, check your transformer secondary winding (I think it's 2 or 4 yellow wires?) that plug into the pcb by a whitish molex connector. Use the A/C scale on the voltmeter and see if that has any power. If not, replace transformer.
