I need a Topside Control but which one will operate my Spa Pack???
Hello: I acquired a spa with a Hayward Max-Pak system but the Topside Control is missing. The Spa Pack has a Ramco St-2020 board. It’s 220v system with a 6 pin molex plug for the Topside. I have documentation with pictures of the Hayward topside that it came with and I assume it was made by Ramco since the control board is a Ramco.
It's a 3 button with a thermostat
1 - system on/off
2. Jets
3. Blower.
The wiring for the plug at the control box shows:
Green +1. SVDC (I assume light)
Blue - blower,
Black - jets,
White - heater,
Brown On/off,
Red - common.
Nobody can tell me for sure if a Ramco 1200-3, a Dimension One 3-00-0025 or whatever topside will communicate with the board. Although the labels on these topsides don't match the ones on the original, some techs. think it will work.
It's the "think" that concerns me for once I buy it, I own it.
Can anybody – Help?
Attached is a schematic of the molex plug and it’s pinout.
