| Installing A new control box, Difficult ? |
A friend of mine Just called me and asked if I could replace the electrical pack on her dreamaker eclipse 8003 b6l series spa. she had a company come out, and they told her that it was fried. Im assuming by electrical pack he meant the control box/circuit board, which he said would cost $3400.00 to fix. So since that is ridiculous she found the part for $423.00 and now here we are. Problem is I have no idea what that entails, I am an electrician, but the extent of my knowledge of spas is running the electric out to them and plugging them in, and the 30 minutes ive just spent educating myself online. If someone could tell me how difficult this is or how to determine if it is necessary to replace the control box in the first place(unless it is actually visibly fried). It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!! Luke. |

Re: Installing A new control box, Difficult ?
If it's like the dreammakers we sell it couldn't be much easier. It is located right on the equipment door and you only have a few things to unplug and plug back in.
