| New to Hot Tubs, problems with mine! |
I've got a 1997 Hot Springs Grandee. It was given to me, in great shape. I was told the heater didn't work. So I wired it in, and nothing worked, after messing with it, I deduced the controll panel was bad. $475 later, everything workd except the heater. So I bought a new heater and installed it tonight, and it still won't heat. I am not getting any voltage to the relays, nothing. If I unplug the thermostats (either one) the whole thing shuts down and you have to turn the power off for a few minutes before anything else will work. The heater was about $360, so now with a few breakers and some wire I'm into this for about $900, can't afford a service call. The only thing I haven't replaced now is the circuit board in the upper (small) control panel. It looks good, and the buttons that turn the jets on and off work, as well as the control for the light on/off/dimmer. Is there any way to test and tell if there is a problem with it? Any help would be great, thanks! |

Can you give us a serial number and how the spa is wired? |
