Replacing a control on a Marquis Spa
Hi. I have a Marquis Spa Coastal Series. Two of the control buttons no longer seem to work. They are both attached to "Control #1". Sometimes, if I rub my finger over one of the controls it will kick in. So I'm thinking the control button itself is no good. I found these parts online and they include a wire that goes all the way back to the main board, and includes and Rj45 on the wire.
So I get all that. I just want to know how I will install this new button. Do I cut the control off from the top (water side), or is that just a cover. Or, do I open it up from the side and replace the button from underneath, leaving the sealed top side?
Any help is appreciated. Knowing this information, I'll buy the parts and put them in!
