Spa will not start up on it's own

Ok here is the problem. I got a spa that once power is applied nothing happens. You can manually press in the contactor and then push the air buttons and each part will start up. At least those I have tested, still not sure about the heater. But the contactor will not activate with out manually pushing it in. I have found the high limit switch is bad so this might be a the cause, but I'm not sure. I by-passed the switch and the heater activated, but I still needed to manually push in the contactor. Any help would be great. Do I need to replace the contactor and the limit switch? Or do I just have a large paper weight in the garage?

You didn't indicate if your pump was working when it's supposed to be heating.

When you press the button the heater contactor activates but no pump turns on. If you press the button for pump, air, and hot air everything turns on.
