| Sundance Sentry 724 digital control panel bulb replacement? |
I am working on a Sundance Sentry 724 spa. The digital control panel illumination is non-op. After removing the two bulbs, I found them to be both burnt out. The bulbs look very similar to automotive dashboard display bulbs. Where can I find this exact bulb to buy? Click on either pic to see full view of bulb bottom view and side view. Thanks for your time....

Re: Sundance Sentry 724 digital control panel bulb replacement?
Ok, finally got some helpful info, and have the new bulbs in hand. The part number for this bulb is 6000-070. After I was armed with this number, I found the bulbs for sale at the Clear Creek Spa website. I paid $17.59 for two bulbs, shipping and handling, and received them in the mail a few days later. The old bulbs are rated at 1.4 watts, and the new bulbs are rated at 1.1 watts. Since I never got to see the old bulb's brightness, I do not know how much more bright if any the 1.4w bulb is than the new 1.1w bulb. The 1.1w bulbs are plenty bright, so it doesn't really matter to me anyway. I also found the bulbs at Paradise Valley Spas in Capitola, CA. I spoke with them over the phone and are having them order and mail me the bulbs for around the same price as Clear Creek Spa. Have not received the bulbs from Paradise yet to confirm correct bulb and wattage rating. Will update when I receive them. |
