Tiger River Bengal 1999 Spa Inoperable

Tiger River Bengal 1999

Power disconnect between Control Box input and circuit board/Control panel

First off, I have read the manual and searched through all 20 pages of posts, and have not come across anyone with this same issue.

I have verified both the 110 and 220 voltage to the tub and the meter shows I am good, I then verified the white to black and white to red at the board and show voltage, but for some reason nothing is working. I have no lights on the panel, circ pump not running, no display on the topside display. Usually you will have a steady red if all is well and a flashing red if there are limit issues, but nothing is here. I removed the panel and there was a lot of white corrosion on the back side, I did attempt to clean this, but wondering if the tub will power up without the panel attached, I gather from what I have read this should work. Normally when you reset the breaker, you will hear a few clicks (relays actuating) but it is absoultely silent.

If I jump the black wire from the main power block to the black post on the circ pump output, pump runs, it seems like there is something telling or not allowing the power to get where it is needed. I have tried to follow the board as best I can and have a backup that I may swap out, but wonder if anyone has come across this in the past.

Wondering where to start or if any additional information I can proviode will help. Everything worked a month ago or so, and now that winter is approaching, I would like to save the tub from freezing..

Please email with questions or solutions, I appreciate any help you can provide.

Re: Tiger River Bengal 1999 Spa Inoperable

Sounds to me like the board is toast. You said you have a backup - try that one. You should have 3 LED on the board in the upper right portion - the top should be lit green, the middle lit red if sending power to the heater circuit, the bottom should not be lit.
