| balboa pro lite leader (dead?) |
hot tub just stopped working. so i am trying to figure out if the board is blown. Nothing on the board looks burnt or anything, fuses are o.k. I am wanting to test this board on my workbench. I have everything connected except for the heater. If the board is working fine, should i get some kind of display on the topside panel? (lights, temp display?)Or does everything need to be connected to the hot tub (WITH WATER) to get any reading at all on the topside panel? this is a Balboa lite leader circuit board Thanks |

Re: balboa pro lite leader (dead?)
I just got a calspa with the b54114hc1 spa control - lite leader I have the same problem you do. No one has answered your post I was hoping you figured out your problem and could let me know. I was also wandering if it had to be full of water or if it should light up the panel without. Never owned a spa before hoping to find out how to fix this one. |

Re: balboa pro lite leader (dead?)
I've been trying to figure mine out all afternoon unsucessfully. I filled it up with water hoping that was the problem nope. I bypassed the pressure switch nothing. All the fuses are good and there is power going to them. Where did you find the board by itself and do you think that will fix it. Kind of a gamble on anything I guess. Do you know anything about the transformer thats in the control box. Thanks for writing back scrook. |

Re: balboa pro lite leader (dead?)
my transformer was good...check it with a voltage meter, you should have 120V input and only 12v output |
