balboa vs501z error code HH
The model is a VS501Z; date on inside wiring diagram is 06/12/07, Part # 54356HC1 Hooked up at 220V to new GFI I have a HH code on my topside. I have checked and rechecked all jets, filter, water level’s priming and anything else I can think of. There is no problem there. The problem I am having is not a low flow or dry situation (Balboa web site lists this as over heating caused by low flow). I have noticed just once that the heater is on when the pump is not. There seems to be about a 5 to 6 hour run time before I get the HH code. I have no paperwork for this unit so I don't know how to adjust the run time on the pump either. What do I do?

Re: balboa vs501z error code HH
HH is an over temp error. You either overheated or the tub thinks you overheated. The heater should never be on with the pump off, and that could easily lead to the overheat error.
