| calspa 2100 problem in uk |
hi,to all
hope someone can give me some advice,
i have had a calspa 2100 for about 2 years which is converted for uk use,its worked fine until i swithed it off new years day this year (200 and left it off for about a month (with water in)which i have done a few times as i travel quite a bit,i turned it on at the beginning of feb and it tripped out at the rcd and also blew the main 30amp fuse located next to the main terminals on the pcb,i changed the fuse and turned the tub on cautiously and everything seemed fine until i realised the filter pump kicked in immediately when usualy it should wait about 20 seconds from power on and then kick in the relays,on further inspection i noticed that when i turned the power on all the relays (7 of them)turned on straight away which shouldnt happen, the worst thing is that even with the pump turned off the heater relay turns straight on even if the flow switch is not activated and it heated up and started smoking, ive tested the flow switch and all is ok so i narrowed it down to the control board turning all the relays on without any signals or info from the sensors i was hoping someone may know what this problem is and is there a fix or is it better just to get a new board which i will have to get from the us
the pcb board is a balboa part no 27101 rev:3a
with a sticker on the main chip with 2100r1a
iva added a pic of the board
sorry to go on but im stuck as know parts or knowledge available in uk
thanks in advance for any help from my american friends
