DementionOne Calforinan Flow Sensor Error - HELP!
Hello...
I am new to this so hopefully someone will be able to help me out with my spa. I have a DimensionOne Californian Spa (1999). I get the error: Low water, clean filters. I have done exactly that and still the same error appears. Also, the ozonator is not working which is about 2 years old.
Here are my questions:
1. Where is the flow sensor located? 2. Can this cause the ozonator NOT to work? 3. Is there anything that I can do to test the flow sensor?
On my D1 Chairman the flow switch is on the RH side of the control panel in the tubing connected to the heater. Its supposed to sense flow (or lack thereof) thru the heater and shut down the heater if no flow. I suspect this also affects the O2 generator. Look in the tubing that directs water to or from the heater for a small screw in sensor - its actually a switch. Follow its wires to the control panel which hopefully is labelled "flow" or "fl". You can short the terminals on the board to simulate flow and see if everything comes on, or you can remove the flow switch and manually operate it and check continuity at its connection terminals.
