FLO error

I have an older Paradise Springs spa that is getting a FLO message. I had a repair man out and was told it was the Jet pump. I have replaced the Jet pump, blower motor, flo switch and all plumbing. The heater worked fine before I replaced everything. The Jet pump does not run. What could be wrong? It's wired the same as the old pump. Any help would be appreciated.

For starters, have you tested the voltage to the pump?

Yes. I had a tech out today and he thinks the new motor I put in is bad. It would run on low speed or high but not both. I am returning it and having it checked or replaced with another motor. I will let you know what I find out. Thanks for the reply.

<img src=" title="Very Happy" /> My problems are solved. I was shipped a bad pump. I installed a new pump and it works like new.

My spa has been working great since I put in the new pump. Last week it was really cold and windy. I heard my pump keep kicking on and off after 3-4 sec. I opened it up and had a FLO error. I turned it off and drained the tub for fear of the lines freezing. Last night I refilled the tub since it was warmer. Now I am still getting the FLO error and the pump does the same thing. Any ideas?

Is it a GE motor?

I believe it's an Aquaflow motor.

Aquaflow makes the pump, they usually use GE, AO smith, or Emmerson motors. Look on the motor <img src=" title="Very Happy" />

It's an A.O. Smith motor. It starts like it's trying to pump the water and then shuts off. I tried losening the fittings thinking there may be an air lock but to no avail.

<img src=" title="Sad" /> Another set back. I had a service man out and he told me the motor was bad. He said it was just running on high speed. Does anyone know why it would work for a month and now I have problems? It was wired the same as the original motor and I didn't have any problems for 8 years.
