| Flo Error on a Gecko |
Hello all, I'm a new member here and have been combing these forums looking for some help with my hot tub.
I recently drained it and cleaned it, filled it back up, and it was running just fine for about the first eight hours while it heated the water up. Now it keeps coming up with a "FLO" error and won't run on low. On high it runs just fine but every time I turn it to low or it runs to filter/heat the water it flows for about 10 - 15 seconds and then stops. It is a Gecko MSPA-2 and I have already checked the filter, run with it in and out makes no difference, and I have bleed all the our out of the water lines and none of it has made a difference.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Derek |

If you have adequate water flow on low speed, your pressure switch may need adjusting.
When the bellows on an older pressure switch gets cold from the cold water, it becomes stiffer and harder to indicate the real pressure in the heater. |

Ok I adjusted the pressure switch a little and it seems to be running fine now. What is a reason for this happening if it was running fine for a few hours? How much water flow is adequate? tie how can I tell? Because the last thing I want to do is have inadequate water flow and burn up the heater/pump.
Thanks again, this is really helping me out. |

The stuff just gets old - you may want to order a replacement pressure switch and have it on hand. |
