Flow error reading

I have a Sundance Tango spa, not sure of the year, I think early 2000. I had it off for several months and when I refilled it, I get an fl2 error message. I have heat, and the jets work, but it will only stay on for a 30 minute filtration no matter what cycle I set if for (f1, f2, etc...). I also can't clear up the water. I have been manually turning on the filtration so I don't think lack of filtering is my probelm. So... I have an fl2 error message, filtering time problem, and water clarity issue. any help please?

flow and water clarity issues - ist stop - filter
remove and thoroughly clean - hose, then soak in filter cleaner or electric dishwasher powder solution to degrease all body oils, etc. rinse out and reinstall - try again.
if flow error reappears - run without cartridge at all - a blocked cartridge will prevent proper flow and it may be beyond cleaning.
replace cartridge every 2 years if looking after properly, every year if not.

once thats solved, if filtration isn't, then tackle that seperately.

FL2 flashing intermittent

Thank you for the response. I took out the filter and still had the fl2 flashing, and went ahead and bought a new filter. The problem is that the fl2 flashes intermittent. When I turn on the jets, the error reading goes away. I didn't have the error message at all yesterday. Is it possible that the flow switch is the problem? Could it be an intermittant switch? If I manually turn on the circulation (one press of the button, 2 presses gives me the jets), then the error message goes away. I want to make sure there is filtration happening. I know this is a lot...but would appreciate further input if someone can help me.

given your symptoms, i think you have one of 2 likely problems
blockage in the pump reducing flow - most noticeable on low speed which is when it affects the pressure/flow switch

a faulty pressure/flow switch is certainly on the cards - check also for debris or blockage.
