flow problems need circulation 101 help

i have a few post regarding my problems...waiting for responses...in the mean time am researching and see that I should check out a few things...trouble is i need helpp locating and checking them. I have an LA spa quest hot tub circa 2997

I have FLO ICE flashing, tub heatsslowly...i just replaced the heating element to fix a gfi issue. it seems that the flow couldbe the pressure swith,or a clogged filter canister or check valve.based on otherposts...
1. how to i find & unclog the filter? must I drain tub to do this
2. how to i find & test the pressur switch? must I drain tub to do this
1. Is the check valve that plunger looking thing by the pump.
3. could the pum flter be leaking? if so do i need to drain tub to removepump?

obviously i dont know a lotas the tub worked fine for years...apreciate any other tips and guidance on how to do this without messing up anyhthing else.

...Ifound the pressure switch..unfortunately it is behind the circut board to test or remove would require removing the board, i dont want to do this unless i know that is the culpret...I also found out which is pump 1 by tracing the wires...but do nt see a filter...is it inside the pump??it is a waterway pumpBTW
