Brand new wet end 3hp vico replaced on 230 v. single speed after noticing seal gone bad trickles of water spraying out near motor shaft, minor corrosion on bottom front of motor. Motor shaft rusty but spins easily and is solid, flo thru heater fires up and seems to run with no problem, and just replaced several jets including leak coming from bottom of filter canister. Around 15 to 20 min. after starting GFI pops, unplugged ozonator, still pops, removed filter and bled the lines, still pops. I dont believe it is the wiring in the box because it ran fine for three months after we moved in. Motor bearings? Ground wire? I bypassed the safety suction system, also have a tech. coming tomorrow morning, but I am running out of money fast. Any Ideas? " title="Confused" />

Could be the air blower if your hot tub has one fitted.

Often the cause of tripping problems, particulalry when the spa has been refilled and the water level has gone too high.

This induces a siphon effect where the pool back-siphons water down the air blower line.

try unplugging the blower and have another go.

If this fixes it, take the blower out and stick it somewhere warm and dry (airing cupboard is ideal) Then after a week or so, re-fit it and it should be fine.
