Balboa heater element removal
I have removed the tube and am trying to replace the heater element. I am turning the nuts but just spinning insid ethe tube. How can I get the element out? I cant hold the end inside the tube to stop it from spinning when I turn it with a wrench from the outside

Re: Balboa heater element removal
YOU CAN'T. YOU WILL NEED TO CUT THE METAL TO REMOVE THE OLD ELEMENT WITH OUT DAMAGING THE STAINLESS STEEL HOUSING.......GOOD LUCK..

Re: Balboa heater element removal
Thanks. I was able to get a cutoff wheel ($2.50) at home depot, an attachement to work it off my drill ($2.50) and I cut the nuts off.
