| Breaker Tripping when Heater turns on |
Found Spa had no power...Flip breaker with high spped jets on (heater off)
Runs fine...turn high speed off (turns on low speed and heater)..and breaker trips.
Found if i disconect the pressure switch then the breaker doesn't trip (low speed but no heat)
I tried Bypassing the pressure switch, but again breaker trips.
Tested Resistance on heater terminals got 11 ohms
Tried testing heater terminals to ground but got no reading...
Ideas? |

All signs point to heater going to ground.
Remove heater leads, see if it still trips. If not, replace the heater. |

Man what a long day... ugh... the extreme of the extreme crazy tech questions on the phone. I'm burned out today.
I think I'm gonna change my tag line to:
Amateurs built the Ark, Professionals built the Titanic, and Idiots work on Spas.
" title="Twisted Evil" />
Forgive me, I'm just tired tonight. |
