I'm a rookie here...
I bought an artisian tub and saw it work before I moved it.

The electrician hooked it up, but the circuit breaker he installed on the wall trips instantly when turned on. It is preceded by a ckicking noise from the tub.

When I disconnect the ozone converter, the tub powers on.

So here's my question. Do I just need to buy a new ozone converter, or is there a chance it can be something simple that is going wrong?

Take a close look at the neutral wire coming from the tub into the GFCI disconnect. If it's a GFCI breaker, be sure the neutral wire is going to the neutral terminal on the GFCI breaker, and NOT the neutral bar. Can you take a pic?

It's not unusual for a tub to develop current leakage when a tub is drained and refilled either, very common. But considering this is a new hook-up, the problem usually lies within the new wiring.

Sorry, I had some of my information all mixed up. I edited it above. The problem is with the ozone converter.

Unless it's plugged into the wrong spot, replace it. It may have gotten wet during the move, it could possibly dry out. Leave the ozonator unplugged for a few days, then try plugging it back in. The spa will work just fine without it " title="Smile" />
