GFCI Breaker Tripping At Power Up.

Great Lakes Traverse Bay hot tub. 50 Amp 4 wire hookup. 50 Amp CH main house panel. 50 Home Line Square D GFCI breaker at tub. GFCI trips immediately on power up. Disconnected ALL loads from control board, GFCI still trips. Removed 120/12 volt transformer from board, GFCI did not trip. Installed new transformer, GFCI breaker trips. Could this be defective board?

I have the same problem, and do not believe it is the transformer. There is something that clicks in on the controller board. Did you figure yours out? <img src= " title="Confused" />

No, not as of yet. Have ordered new heater element. Will let you know what happens.

Replaced heating element today 11/09/09. GFCI no longer tripping ar power up. Are you using a 50 Amp GFCT breaker with a load neutral terminal on breaker? If not, breaker will trip when transformer powers up.
