Have balboa icon10 lite leader controler.Freeze damage

.Replaced pump.pressure switch,fiter housing.Will only power up if GFCI has the ground unhooked.Everything powers up,reads temp,heat indicator lights,but no heat.O pwer across heater posts,and odd #'s at controllers wiring block.Unhook from block,and all #'s return to normal.Looking at a replacement controller 54115,but it'S $400,and I not sure if it"s what I need.Thanks in advance RLB

I feel really dumb,but found out my problem.My heating element was grounding out on the housing.2 17 cent nylon washers cured all my problems.Thanks for having all this info at peaples fingertips.RLB
