GFIC TRIPPING WHEN TURNED ON

I have a older cal spa with a sp-3 spa pack this spa was working when
i got it with a new 40amp gfic the braker trips as soon as i turn it on. If i by pass the gfic and hook up to a reg. braker the spa works fine i have had to tecs. here and they could not figure it out. They just want to sell me a new pack Please help

That should be a simple problem to find... but before we start trouble-shooting, could you take a picture of the GFCI breaker... I'd like to see how it's wired.

I found out the problem by reading youe earlyer post the ground fault was wired wrong all the commen wire went to the commen block thanks shutterbug
