GFIU trips occassionally. Vita Spa UNit
Stats Vita Spa Nuage 240 V 60 amp uses a Square D GFCI Circuit Breaker, Unit is set to pull 50 amps (heater will not come on with motor's on high). THe problem is that the GFCI trips on occasion. This is the 2nd GFIU that I have installed in the circuit panel for the spa. About 1 year between circuit breakers. At this point it is anoying to find the water cold when really needing the hot water to relax. I wonder the following: Should I just count on the GFCI going bad once per year? Is this a problem with Square D Circuit breakers? Should I put a heavier amp (current is 60 amp) breaker in the Circuit panel? What is the "best case" opinion on how I can fix this once and for all? Thanks in advance for your help.
