| Hot Spring Grandee Not Heatingcover |
Hello,
My boyfriend and I were recently given a 1995 Hot Spring Grandee. It was working great for the first one and a half weeks; however, we noticed yesterday that it is no longer heating up. We live in Washington and are concerned about what may happen as it gets cooler outside. There is a Watkins 5500 No Fault Heater in the tub. We are not sure what we should try first. We have considered that perhaps it may need to reset, but we do not know if or where a reset button may be on the heater. I have searched the internet and cannot find any information on the heater. We have cleaned the filters, which we purchased new just over one week ago. We are waiting on the new cover that we ordered, but are hopeful that we will not need to buy a new heater considering the costs we have already incurred. The hot tub has been heating without the cover. Perhaps, the hot tub has overheated. Does anybody have any suggestons on what we should try first? I would hate to jump to ordering a new heater without trying other solutions. We can hear the circ pump running, but are concerned about its flow. We have checked the hoses for air locks. That does not seem to have done anything. Any suggestions? Thank you very much. Happy Thanksgiving!!!! I can submit a picture if that is helpful. |
