Hot spring Iq2000 control board 5v dropout
Im troubleshooting a problem with a control board in a Jetsetter. The 5V regulator on the board U4 gets hot after 30 seconds of operation and the 5V drops out. This makes everything go nuts: circ pump, heater, and ozonator relays toggle erratically. I am to avoid the $500 replacement cost of the board, as I just spent 160 on a new E5 circ pump. Any ideas? Could it be a leaky cap? Anyone tried trouble shooting the board in the past. Thanks for the help.
