I inherited a used leisure bay hot tub and have spent about a week doing restoration work on the plumbing after a few critters decided to dine on the tubing. With it all set to go, the tub appears to work great so now would like to try it out except.........I have no idea how to remove the filter!!!!!.....it is late 1996 model, top filter. the cover is a black handle with 2 knobs one which is removable and a gray (looks like some kind of release button). trying to turn counter-clockwise is useless as it is locked on tight. During searches on here there appears to be some kind of pressure lock??...but I am unsure.

Any suggestions?

never mind...lol.....found out how.....jeesh
