Leaky Highlife
Hi! We have been fortunate? to purchase an older (early 90's) Hot Springs Highlife Spa. We knew there was a leak and narrowed it down to the area in the "well" where the 4 fillters are. We plugged the filter pipes with fittings and used silicone caluk around where the "well" is fitted to the tub body. After coloring the well water blue, we found that water is still leaking out of the well and into the main drain. But the leak in the insulation did not turn blue, it stayed clear? We have no schematics and cannot figure how this water gets into the main drain. It is not going down the filter pipes! Any clues? We started to dig out the insulation but had to come inside to thaw out. Help! It's cold out there (20'ish F) and we were anxious to get this going for Xmas! " title="Confused" /> Thanks for any help!
PS Yes, DH did blow out the pipes and fill with antifrezez before quitting for the day.
