Leisure Bay Spa won't regulate temp
I was given a Leisure Bay Hilo spa (celebrity series) hooked everything up about a week ago, I have noticed that the heater will not come on unless the Jets are on. also the spa has a 3 HP 2 speed pump and i have noticed that the low speed that recirculates the water does not run. could this have anything to do with the pressure switch? If so how do you recalibrate the switch?
Thanks,

Re: Leisure Bay Spa won't regulate temp
The way things operate...the pump turns on and sends water through the heater, the pressure switch senses the water flowing through the heater and allows power to go to the heating element, the heating element heats the water.
Doesn't sound like you have a pressure switch problem.

Re: Leisure Bay Spa won't regulate temp
Is there a fuse for the lower speed on the motor? If the low speed on the pump is not working could that be the problem?

Re: Leisure Bay Spa won't regulate temp
Took a look at all the electrical connections and reconnected everything and cleaning out the control box, the low speed started working. Maybe the low speed wire wasn't getting a good connection. Works fine now!

Re: Leisure Bay Spa won't regulate temp
" title="Very Happy" /> You need to keep the spa in STANDARD mode or it wont heat via the thermostat. Spa has 3 heat modes st/slp/ec. hit the temp up/light within 1 second of each other to toggle modes.
