| Looking for OLD spa information (owners manual, etc) |
I just picked up a Watkins spa that was manufactured in 1983. I was wondering if anyone could point me to ANY information regarding this spa. I would love to get this up and running, but have no prior experience with spas. Here is the only information I could find on the spa:
Serial Number D-UL 5457
Date of Manufacture 7-83
Watkins
Thank You in advance for any assistance you could provide. |

What do you need to know?
20 amp, dedicated 110v power supply, single speed jet pump, thermstatically controlled circ.pump and htr.
Watkins is the manufacturer of Hot Spring Spas, you have one of their first- great tub! |

Thanks for the reply. I pretty much need to know whatever I need to get it hooked up to a filter and keep it running clean and worry free...
It is probably easier than I am thinking, but want to make sure I do everything right.

Hey Goaltender,
I called Watkins via their 800 number listed in the equipment cavity and they sent me a manual for free for my 97 Sovereign model. Give 'em a call. They'll fix you right up. I sure wish I'd have been able to talk them out of a plumbing and wiring diagram. The manual explains how to hook it up to power via the 110 power cord, or how to convert it to 220 but it doesn't tell you how to go back to 110 or what any of the other internal connections should be if you were to have to take it apart or something. I recommend taking a digital picture of each area before removing anything.
