I have recently acquired a hot tub.. I was told it is a Cal-Spa and is approximately 5 years old.

I am trying to figure out the model number, and exact year of the spa. There is NO identification that I can see, or even anything stating it is a Cal Spa!

From the Cal Spa manuals online, I see that the control panels should say "Cal Spa" on them, but mine doesn't. I was told the topside control is original, and it looks to be about 5 years old.

Here are the numbers on the spa that I can find:

Control: "Gecko TSC-8"
Spa pack: "Gecko SSPA1-P122-P210-B1-02-4174-01C"
Ozonator: "HydroSpa Chemical Reduction System"
Written on the underside of the shell in marker: "1090303 700GAC" (the GAC may be GAL.. can't tell exactly)

Any ideas what this spa is? I suspect the Ozonator was dealer installed, so that's why it is a HydroSpa.

Are there serial numbers or model numbers in a common location on all Cal Spas somewhere??

I don't believe that's a Cal Spa.

The controller is definitely by Gecko (not Cal), and the pump doesn't look like any thing Cal uses.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that the pump was replaced 2 years ago with a rebuilt. I was told it fit, but was a different style than the original. That explains why it looks different..

So all Cal-Spa controllers usually say "Cal Spa" on the topside control?

Showed the pics to a Cal Spa guy and he says it isn't one of their tubs.

He immediately said "check with Hydrospa"

I didn't get any more information from him, but it seemed pretty obvious that he immediately identified it as a Hydrospa unit.

Looked up their webpage and this tub seems to be a reverse image (identical tub, but mirror image) of a HydroSpa Lexxus. The current model has a waterfall and more jets, but the tub is basically the same.

Do I have a 5yr old Hydrospa Lexxus?
