| Where are the Strainers in a hot tub? |
We are having a problem with our Jaquizzi hot tub. It has started making some whining and real weird noises and we checked our manual and it says clean out the strainers and there is no place that shows where these strainers are. Does anyone have an idea of what they are talking about?
Thanks for the help. Vonnie44 |

The "strainers" are the screens in the bottom of the footwell. |

Thank You, Do you know if they come out through the bottom or the top of the tub. I am not really sure if I understand exactly what you are talking about, this is our first hot tub and am learning all we can but I do wish they had more pictures and showed a strainer where it is and all that. I will tell my hubby and he might know but incase he doesn't are you talking about the two square things on the sides of our tub near the bottom as we don't have anything on the bottom of our tub except on the outside.
Thanks again so much for your help and hope I didn't mess up on what I am trying to find out.

The "strainers" are the screens in the bottom of the footwell. INSIDE the spa. They "strain" the water as it goes from the spa, to the pump. |

" title="Very Happy" /> Thank You, We now are using a very quiet tub and though it is snowing outside the tub is wonderful for the winter chills. Thanks Again. " title="Laughing" />
