how to operate
New to this. My wife bought a used tub needed a circuit board.Got it all repaired and hooked up it is Dynasty with a balboa control.
When it was powered up the circulation pump and heater came on then after a few minutes the jet pump and blower came on. The blower would turn off but the jet pump would only go to slow speed but after a while it stopped also.
Was this a filtration cycle?
Is there a way to program this control for filtration or economy modes.
It only has a few buttons
Jet pump 2 speeds
blower 2 speeds
lights
Tempature
A heater indicator light
Thanks

Re: how to operate
The jets and blower will come on high to start filtration to purge the lines and stir up any debris sitting in spots that are usually not circulating. That will stop after a minute or two and then continue on low speed for a while. Just the usual filtration.
Try this for programming: Your spa runs a filter cycle twice a day: the first cycle begins 6 minutes after you turn power on to your spa from the GFCI breaker and the second twelve hours later. You can adjust the total time your spa spends filtering its water during a filter cycle (the Filter Duration or FD). Filter duration is adjustable for 2, 4, 6, and 8 hours, or for continuous filtration (FC). Use the four buttons (ignore the labels and from left-to-right call these buttons 1-4) to program:
a. Turn on the GFCI breaker at about the time you want the first filter cycle to start b. Press button 3 (e.g. Cool) and button 1 (the left-most button) at the same time c. Press button 3 or 4 to adjust. d. Press button 1 to exit.

Re: how to operate
Thanks in advance. Tryed what you suggested it did not work or I did not do it right. The circuit board has a filtration jumper on it marked A & B I have it set for A tryed B it stayed in the filtration cycle for hours switched it back to A and now monitoring the tub. Have any thoughts on the diffrent jumpers.
Thanks Tim

Re: how to operate
Then that's probably your only control. I'd imagine one is 24 hour filtration and the other is 8 or so.
