| lack of air bubbles |
I have purchased an older hot tub its a 1996 cedar springs spa it works great but it has 4 jets and only one of them shoots out air bubbles. They all move water very well but the one closest to the airfilter housing is the only one with bubbles. Don't they normally all shoot out bubbles. Been doing some reading and looked under the tub did not see a second pump for just air. don't really now if it had one and doesn't any more. I don't no much about them and don't no where to start. Any tips and ideas would be very greatful |

Re: lack of air bubbles
Most have venturis built into the housings. You can usually control the air flow from knobs along the top lip of the tub. They can get clogged and can be a pain to fix, but try adjusting them first. You should at least be able to turn off the bubbles at the one jet.
Of course, you might also not have any air controls and an ozonator that's only hooked up to one return, so check for that possibility as well. |
