| new owner of a used spa question ? |
I purchased a very good condition 1999 model hotspring classic hot tub...the former owner took stuff out of the control compartment and now some of the jets dont work.I looked in the compartment and noticed up to the right and left there are a series of three hoses and couplers unhooked and hanging there, my question is what do (or)did they hook up to and how can i find the routing diagrams to get them working again.I looked all over the net for diagrams and there is not anything that I could find, also there is a slight leak in the base right in side the floor of the compartment Wich i can live with it just weeps a small amout of water.any assistance would sure be a great help.. and thank you ahead of time, for you help and assistance. |

Re: new owner of a used spa question ?
I would use a compressor, shop vac, or even a leaf blower on the hanging lines to see where they lead inside the tub. Not sure a plumbing diagram exists. |

Re: new owner of a used spa question ?
Some of the outer rings or bezels of the jets turn to allow more air into the jets for more power. Try turning them, they may be tough at first from sand and debris. |

Re: new owner of a used spa question ?
thanks for the replies they hook up to the big jets on the back massage unites in the corrners did these unites have an additional air pump that these would have hooked up to ? On the control board it has a hook up that's labeled air pump two? maybe this is what is missing . I did notice that they the lines have a diaphram in the connecters to only let air or water flow one way if you blow on it it goes thru if you suck on it is stops the flow i have a pic but don't know how to attach it to the repy, thanks ! |

Re: new owner of a used spa question ?
It may have had a second pump, or it may have had a valve that redirected all your flow from one set of jets to the other. |
