Got no response, so here's a summary of my last post in a previous thread:

I have to replace all of the flex and that one clearish/brownish large fitting I took a chunk out of (if the bottom of the tub were a clock face, with the pump and gear at 9:00, and the motossage at 1:00 - it's about at 5:30 - looks like it's below the 3 corner jets. On my diagram from David Scarritt, it looks like it's where a piece of 2" flex Y's into 2 smaller pieces). in my mid-90s Sovereign.

Anyone got an estimate of what that'll cost? Know of any good deal on flex/primer/cement, etc?

I have about 2 weeks weather-wise to decide whether to fix it or sawzall it into pieces and stop pissing my neighbors off (it's on its side all dug out - not pretty.)

The parts you need are the least of your monetary concerns. You can probably get all of those supplies for $40-$60.

The tough part is finding the leak and the expensive part is the labor and expandable foam to re-insulate if that is your plan. If you have already found the problem and will fix it yourself I would say it's worth it.

Dan, It's on its side, fully dug out, all flex exposed. There were obviously multiple leaks and the claw of my framing hammer did no small amount of damage to the flex. Hence the replumb. I've gotten it this far (check my other posts for the saga) I'll fix it if it's not another huge wad of cash.

Seems like your estimate has got to be low. We're talking ALL of the 2" (or whatever it is) flex. All of the 1" flex. Air lines (yeah that's cheap, I know) new clamps, a few nipple replacements, that big fitting I mentioned (which has gotta be a few bucks in its own. Consumables.

I did save about 60% of the foam chunks in 2 huge yard bags. Hoping to stuff some of that back in to reduce re-foam cost.

You have any sources? I'm ready to go if it's as little as that.
