Hot Springs Landmark 2001 leak, broken air check valves

I need help in tracking down a leak in my 2001 (possibly 2000) Hot Spring Landmark hot tub. The hot tub has performed well over the years, and I've only had to replace one ozonator and one heater.

However, last week I noticed that the water level was down 6 inches to just below the fake plastic tile panels. I filled it up past the panel level, but the next day the water level was down again to the same place. I checked for leaks but did not see anything.

So, on the weekend, I opened up the equipment compartment, and then filled it up again. Again, no leaks. I ran one jet pump. No leaks. I then ran the other jet pump. No leaks. Then I decided to go for broke, and turned both jet pumps on. Well, that did the trick, water was leaking into the equipment compartment. I turned off the power, and reached under the left top of the equipment compartment and saw that two tubes were gushing water. I later found out that these had been connected to the air check valves (see picture). I also found another broken air check valve on the right top of the compartment.

So my question is, was the initial problem caused by broken off tubing connected to the air check valves or is there some obstruction that is diverting water into the tubing and helped contribute to the fracture of the air check valves. In other words, do I just need to replace the air check valves?

Re: Hot Springs Landmark 2001 leak, broken air check valves

Well if the broken off lines were hanging down then water would just leak out from gravity and the fact that they were below the water line. Get new check valves and put them back up into the clips that they should sit in (up on the top of the underside of the motor copartment) and you should be all set.

Thanks. I'll give it a try.
