I bought a house with a two person coleman spa in the basement. I refinished the basement around the spa, making sure their was great ventilation in my "spa room".
Filled up the spa and it leaked. Pump seal was leaking. Drained the tub, fixed the seal and refilled. Leaked more. After scraping out the cr*p insulation under part of the tub, I found that it was leaking at the jets. I pulled off the wall fittings and found a few cracked, so I replaced all of them.
I refilled the tub and it is STILL leaking.
I have no idea where it is comming from. It is pooling up under the tub and then running out. I can see many pools but cannot find a leak. How can I pinpoint a leak?
Help before I decide to take a chainsaw to it and get rid of the headache. |

Well, I ripped out all the foam around all the jets, lights, and drain on the sides of the tub. No leaks there.
The only thing on the bottom of my spa are the air holes and one small fitting (I dont know what it is). I cant get to them from the sides. Do I need to turn the spa on its side? How will i be able to tell if one of these is the problem? |
