| Sovereign still a leaking |
Slowly. phew.
On my 97 hotsprings sovereign.
Looks like its the upper single jet across from the lounge closer to the corner with a bunch of jets than to the corner with the filters.
I see that I can just basically pull the the whole outer jet housing out. I see by spinning it it also adjusts air flow. I want to first make sure this and the jets near it are sealed properly. What is my next step? |

Nothing accessible from inside the tub is related to the leak. Locate the leak from the rear (remove some wood, and take a peek)
Removing the jet-body will do nothing. |

My spa is the Tiger River Siberian that you recently posted a reply to. All I can say is to get some advice from the guys on this forum and follow it!! Most of the foam excavation that you saw in my photo was my digging for the leak where I was sure it was located, but turned up dry. The water seems to follow the path of least resistance and doesn't necessarily drip anywhere near the leak. Turns out that the leak was exactly where Dan the Spa Man said it would be. (four garbage cans of foam later)
Also, buy some good gloves. You probably can't see it in my photo, but there is a lot of blood in that foam from my knuckles. Good Luck!! |

Also, buy a load of patience and logic from the nearest depot. That is what fixes these kinds of leaks. It takes time and there is no instant answer - (unfortunately what most folks are accustomed to!). |
