Suction Fitting is Leaking – Please Help

Hello,

I have a leak at one of the suction fittings and do not know how to replace the fitting / fix the leak. I have found an exploded view (attached) of the fitting but am not sure how to replace it. I know there is a "cover", the "fitting" itself (I now must replace it because I cracked it trying to get it out – I thought it would unscrew from inside the spa.) and then there is a plastic nut on the outside of the spa.

How do I replace this fitting? What is the first step? Do I need a special tool?

Thanks,

Jim

Get a sawzall - cut and replace everything from the hose to the spa components mounted in the shell.

No other way to do it. If it's too cold then you'll either need to use a heat (blower) gun to assist with cementing this stuff (and the job), or wait until it warms up a bit.
