| Tiger River Siberian Leak |
Does anyone know where I can get a plumbing diagram for a 1998 Siberian model L ? I winterized my tub last fall but water leaked in around the cover, froze, and now I have a leak in the plumbing. I started digging through the foam but no luck yet. Any suggestions on where the pipes are most likely to break with only 8-10 inches of water in the system when it froze?? |

Wow, got it... Thanks Dan. You must have been sending while I was typing. Thats a little wierd..
It looks like the 99 is a little different as the diagram you sent shows 3 foot jets (if I am reading it right), mine only has 2. But this should give me a good start. I will lay the tub back down tomorrow on some blocks, fill it up and start digging again.
It seems like the leak should be from those foot jets or perhaps the heater line since not that much water got in the tub when it froze. But the leaking doesn't start until the water level gets up to the next level of jets. I will check that again more carefully.
Thanks again for the diagram. |

Also, it all depends on how you winterized it. Did you just drain the tub or did you also blow out the lines?
The diagrams that I sent are only the pressure lines...I can also send the intake lines for the circulation pump.
If you didn't blow out the lines, then the check valves in the pressure lines probably retained water and froze.
If you did blow out the lines and water only filled in after, then it's possible that the drain/circ pump return line is broken (the drain fitting at the bottom or lines associated with this). I can send you the diagram for that on Sunday.
It will help if you get it safely elevated and filled to see better. |
