Hi, I have a question about a leaking valve on my spa. I think the valve in question is the air intake valve, but i'm not 100% sure. Could someone out there confirm that this valve is the air intake valve, and also suggest a possible replacement product? it is an air control valve, but is it leaking air or water?

If water, then you likely have a blockage in one or more of the jets it supplies

If air, could be worn or missing o-rings (purchase locally) or a crack in the hose or housing. If in the hose, just put some flex pvc cement over the crack. If in the housing, could either silicone, epoxy, or relace the faulty part.

The air control valve is likely fine.

Charger is spot on is his assesment, the problem lies within one or more of the jets.

1st, be sure the inards are good and tight. More likely they are just loose, and the vacuum that is supposed to be created has instead turned into a pressurized line, spitting water out where air is supposed to be sucked in.

I'd suggest tightening your jets, and if that doesn't work, replacing them. Without seeing a pic of the jet, a special tool may be needed to tighten them, draining is NOT needed for this common repair.
