| slow leak Tiger River Bengal |
I inherited a Tiger River Bengal circa '99. No leaks were happening at my borther's house, only after it was moved. The tub sat dry for about a month in June, covered, etc. I have a slow leak (1 drip about every 30 sec). When facing the equip. compartment, the leak is on the right exiting between under the edge of the compartment white shell and above the wood frame. There is no water in the compartment. The light lens cover seems intact, no residue, etc. I haven't noticed any wetness in the poly-fill insulation around the hoses to the right of the compartment.
Is it possible an o-ring has failed on one of the jets? That the lube has gone away? When filling I monitored the water level in relationship to the jets. Seems the leak starts as the water level is between the lowest jet and highest rotating jet on the that side and still below the light lens. The drip does not change in frequency with pumps running.
Any thoughts? I do not have any plumbing diagrams as to where the plumbing is to any of the jets or breather lines. Thanks |
